In a time when the world grapples with a cost of living crisis and people are displaced by war or natural disasters, I believe in a slightly different approach - one that values intention, care, and community over excessive consumerism.
Taking inspiration from some of my fellow small businesses, this year, instead of contributing to the fear of missing out on Black Friday deals, I'm embracing a more mindful and compassionate path. I don't want to create an environment that makes you feel obligated to spend purely because of a one-day deal. That is why I'm running this offer until the end of November so you have time to think about your purchases. I'm conscious that everyone could do with a little help. With that in mind, this Black Friday, I’m still going to give you the option to take a discount on your order, but I'm also going to give you the option to donate a portion of your order to Save the Children; Supporting those in need and fostering a spirit of giving and solidarity.
My decision is rooted in a belief that shopping should be slow, intentional, and conscious.
